Autumn is mushrooms time… but do we really know them?

What are their peculiarities? How to use them? But above all, how do we recognise the poisonous ones?

To answer these and many other questions, the Botanic Garden and Museum of the University of Pisa, the Azienda USL Toscana Nord-Ovest and the Association of Tuscan Mycological Groups (AGMT) are organising the exhibition Autumn Mushrooms of Northern Tuscany.

The exhibition will be open to visitors at the Succulent Greenhouse inside the Botanic Garden on 8th, 9th and 10th November according to our usual opening hours: 8:30am-5:00pm.

Let’s learn together about the main species of poisonous mushrooms and some tips for the correct use of edible species!

An expert mycologist will be present during the opening hours of the exhibition.
